Do I need to bring my own laptop or music?

For the Learn to DJ and Advanced DJing sessions you can use our USBs and the our Rekordbox library. For Music Production, bring your laptop with Ableton Live installed if you want to take projects home.

How long is a session?

Most DJ and production sessions are 2 hours. That is enough time to learn a skill, practice it and leave with homework. The Artist Accelerator is a weekly cohort by application.

What gear do you teach on?

Pioneer CDJ-2000 Nexus, DJM-750, Technics 1210 turntables, ADAM A7X monitors and Ableton Push 3. The same gear you will find in real clubs and studios.

Can I book a single lesson?

Yes. Learn to DJ, Advanced DJing and Music Production all book as single 2-hour sessions. Members and Academy perk holders get 20% off DJ practice for 30 days.

How do I join the Artist Accelerator?

Apply through the form. We review each application and invite shortlisted artists for an interview. Cohorts are small and run weekly.

Where are the courses held?

At bridgr.studio in Alfama, in the same rooms where we record podcasts, shoot photo and film DJ sets. You learn in a working studio, not a classroom.
